The Netherlands Space Office (NSO) and the Dutch Research Council (NWO) awarded 4.5 million to Earth observation and planetary research. Funding within the 'Use of space infrastructure for Earth Observation and Planetary Research (GO)' call is distributed among 15 research projects. The researchers will make substantial use of space infrastructure for their projects and will, among other things, conduct research on CO and CO2 emissions from forest and wildfires and volcanism on Mars. We are delighted to see nine researchers from Leiden-Delft-Erasmus universities receiving these grants for their research.
